Though a comedy, Fool’s Day examines serious issues that parents could face when all they do is provide for their children’s needs and believe all is well. Chief Igbayilanlo and his wife are faced with the discovery of their children and house-help’s wayward lifestyle on a day they least expect, and this leads to the ripple effect of actions in the play.
